Michael Alecca, the photographer, was born the day his grandfather let him snap his first Polaroid. As the black and white image slowly came to life in his young hands, so did his fascination with the wonder of photography. Seeing a fleeting moment of life and capturing the image on film forever is an experience that still excites him today.

Michael is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Photography and has been photographing weddings and events and Catskill Images since 1971.

He is currently a member of Wedding and Portrait Photographers International and Professional Photographers of America.
